Growing up in Massachusetts Dudek was a student at Northwestern University where she got her first stage role in a stage performance of The Iphigenia Cycle. The show was performed off Broadway, situated in New York City. There she received the Joseph E. CALLOWAY award for her amazing show. American Theater Magazine featured her as among the most talented young actors to watch. Dudek landed roles in television and on the big screen. Between 2008 and 2016, the talented actress was married to Matthew Heller. Dudek was born on March 22, 1975 on the 22nd of March, 1975 in Boston Massachusetts but raised in Newton. Her early years were spent in Newton, where she studied at Northwestern University. She appeared in many theater performances and also made her Broadway debut with Wrong Mountain. Later, she was awarded the Connecticut Critics Circle Award for her role on The Glass Menagerie. The Book Group was the first British drama comedy she was a part of. She has also guest starred on other television series such as Desperate Housewives, Desperate I Met Your Mother and Friends Charmed Bones. In the pilot of Psych the actress appeared as Lucinda as well as in Law & Order Criminal Intent a teacher who had an affair with her student. Dudek was later cast in various regular roles beginning in the fourth season. She played Amber Volakis. Dr. Gregory House is considering the possibility of her being a permanent member in his medical team. She continued to play her character for the entirety of the season, however she was killed during the House's head and Wilson's heart episode, which was a two-part series finale. The episode of 5th season, Saviors, House would have her reappear later as an illusion. That's how she appeared for the remainder seasons.
